FABULOUS New Releases from artilleri

Anyone who knows Swirly would be well aware that Antonia Marat is Swirly's all time favourite designer. Antonia's little store artilleri sells the most fabulous old fashioned clothing; true period pieces which are perfect for fans of historical fashion. The latest releases from artilleri are the divine Roaring Gwen dress, which Antonia says was inspired by a person called Gwen Stefani, and the adorable Leo Flats shoes. Like everything at artilleri, these items are historically accurate, so Swirly decided to model them in 19th century Caledon for you. As you can see, she fits right in to her surroundings, thanks to Antonia's keen eye for detail.

The Roaring Gwen dress in pink is perfect for a spot of afternoon trainspotting. The Leo Flats come with red, black and pink ribbons. Can you guess which colour ribbons Swirly is wearing here?

Swirly loves this dress in green, it goes perfectly with these depressing ruins on a barren moor.

New designer Roberta Beauchamp creates clothes using a mixture of hand-drawing and photo sourcing for her store love.love.love at Fashion Mode Too. Roberta describes her range as "an eclectic mish mosh of indie, homemade, vintage and mod styles". While love.love.love offers only a fairly small selection of clothes so far, the variety is impressive and includes cute retro dresses, t-shirts, jackets and capris. Here are a few of my favourite items from this collection.

Microphage is Marvelous

Hello darlings! Delaney Whippet is a new designer who opened the Microphage Boutique last month. Delaney creates fabulous retro and psychedelic clubwear that you just won't be able to live without. It was love at first sight for Swirly!

Swirly is dancing with Stephanie in these photos because Ayami was asleep in bed. Stephanie is modelling the divine Yellow Cocktail Dress which she is much too tall and skinny for, so it is actually kind of wasted on her. The prim skirt is offered in several sizes which is a wonderful idea. Clever girl Delaney!

Swirly is wearing the FABULOUS Yellow Retro Pucci Inspired Minidress - could this be the best dress in SL? The delightful white tights are included. Swirly is also wearing the Rainbow Multicolorful Hoop Earrings, which are bright, multicoloured and HUGE!


The best thing about Microphage is that everything in store costs only 50L. So for all you "no payment info on file" types, just a few hours of your life wasted on a dance pad or camping chair could have you looking as fabulous as Swirly!

Bikini goodness from artilleri!

Well darlings, everybody knows that Swirly has a sweet tooth and right now she is craving strawberries and cream! The cupboard is bare so we'll just have to make do with this delicious new release from Antonia Marat of artilleri, the Strawberry Delight Bikini.

Now anyone who knows me knows that Antonia is my all time favourite designer , she brings a touch of retro glamour to Swirly's Second Life and quite frankly, the end result just REEKS of Marilyn Monroe. Unfortunately, Ayami insisted on modelling the new Strawberry Delight Bikini for this post, which doesn't really do it justice......

The detail on this bikini is FABULOUS, those little strawberries look seriously yummy. The retro cut of the bikini hugs your curves and reveals just enough flesh to be sexy without being tacky. Artilleri is all about glamour darlings, and this bikini is an essential addition to any glamour girl's wardrobe. An absolute steal at only 150L!
