An assortment of new (and not so new!) releases

Just a few things that have caught my eye lately, some brand new, and others not so new. OK, so I'm a slack blogger, blame it on the fact that I'm a much too laid-back Aussie! The latest SL update is certainly making things fun here - textures that won't rez properly, attachments rezzing in my nether regions and refusing to detach until I relog. Ah well, just another day in SL, bring on the clothes.
First up is a new release from First Impressions, the Pleated Trench Coat. Believe me when I say that you MUST have this - it's free! Yay for Pukk!

I couldn't pass up this new dress from Amaretto, mainly because the design is so simple, it's such a classic look. Jersey Girl features elegant lines, and I love the fitted system skirt and the cute flexi waist tie. All of Lux Yao's designs are completely hand drawn too.

SecondWave Apparel has released a range of lace trimmed camis, these come in a great selection of patterns and colours including the leopard and zebra prints shown above. They are available on 3 layers, and at 35L each are well worth a look.

Not quite so new, but definitely a must have, is the bem querer dress from Bossa Nova. Released at the Second Convention Fashion Show, this dress is available in several colours and features a delicate flower pattern, tulle underskirt and matching modifiable corsage. Moire's releases just keep getting better and better, and I love the retro yet glamourous feel of this dress.

Here's some Relay for Life items from CKS Designs which I can't believe I haven't blogged before since not only are they totally cute, the proceeds from sales go to charity. Kit has released these tops in 2 sets, the Tropical Tube Baby Dolls (example shown in the middle) and Tropical Tube Halter Baby Dolls. Each set comes with six tops in a variety of patterns, with colours ranging from bright to muted, and there's a bangle to match each top. Pretty much a summer essential!

Finally, some releases from new shoe designer Zayante Hegel of ZayZay. Shown from left to right are Rose's Gift, Corkies in White and Everyday Sandals in Black. I was impressed with the design of the Rose's Gift shoes, these have a sweet little bow and ribbons on the toe, and a pearl clasp and entwined ribbon at the heel . Eye catching, but not over the top. Zayante seems like a shoe designer with promise.

New Limited Edition Relay for Life Release from First Impressions

The latest Limited Edition Relay for Life Release from First Impressions is here. Birdy is a cute brown and cream skirt and top set, which has a retro yet classic feel. The skirt is flexi and features a stitched waist and a delicate bird pattern on the hem. It's only available from June 21 to June 27, when it will be replaced by a new limited edition, so grab it before it's gone. Did I mention it only costs 100L and is for charity, so there's no excuse?

First Impressions Limited Edition Relay for Life Shirts

Pukk Abel from First Impressions has announced that she will be releasing new Limited Edition Relay for Life items or packs every Thursday. The first release is the V-Neck Garden Tops, a pack of 5 pretty v-neck tops with a floral theme. All 5 colours are shown below -Orchid, Lily, Hyacinth, Daffodil, and Rose - and these are available on both the shirt and jacket layers. The minimum donation for this set is only 150L, pretty damn good for 5 shirts, but there is the option to donate a larger amount to help out even further with the Relay for Life effort.
The V-Neck Garden Tops will be available until May 2nd, and then they will be gone forever, so make sure you drop by First Impressions soon and pick these up before they are gone. The limited editions are only available at Pukk's main store. Can't wait to see what she comes up with for her next Relay for Life release!

silentsparrow

Haha, yea I am back so soon! I am very excited because silentsparrow has it's very own sim and some incredible new releases! So let's see them now, look!

Here I am posing with hyasynth the creator of all these beautiful clothes, I am wearing a not so new outfit called Moppet (hehe)! and she is wearing the incredible flaneuse! Just look at the detail on this blouse. Yuh, and you know you are loving those prim sleeves.

And here is my hya wearing raies, and me in flaneuse. Switcheroo! And doesn't it just piss you off when a 5 year old undead kid dresses better than you? Go ahead and show me up and get it for yourself, silly things!

Raies comes with many varations including pants. (grin)

For those that know me well, I am a huge fan of silentsparrow clothing. They are perfect. Almost 100 percent hand drawn, seams are practically flawless and the styles are just classic.
As a bonus she always throws in lots of extra bits so you never need to scramble for hose or gloves, sometimes even pantaloonies! (Furiae the fangirl, that's me, yush).

And please do check out the new sim, it's amazing! I was lucky enough to get the grand tour but don't be lazy go look for yourselves, and while you are inside the shop, yes yes DO look in the basement. Jessica has some really nifty things down there, like an embalming table. (giggle). Also some great art work for sale, too. And a mausoleum for nappy times. It has ducks and ravens and daisies and well...just go to ~ silent sparrow ~.

And my auntie Poe Tatum finally got off her butt and is releasing the wonderous choker and earrings that I am wearing. Magnifico! Go pick these up here, but know that I had them FIRST. The cool people of SL already have the LM for Poe's shop, for the rest of you click Sweet Skanks, to go to Skanks-R-Us & SweetEdge Jewelry Headquarters (and friends).

And shame on Swirly, she left out -my- favorite wig from the hair fair, but you can still get it at Celestial Studios. It's called Annie May, it comes in two versions and I got both because sometimes I'm a dumbass. What do you want from me anyways?! I'm short and never saw the other version!

Haha, Pukk Abel goes Goth for at least one release! That's right, LOOK.

Pretty nifty, huh? It's pretty much like 3 outfits in one. Too bad I can't wear it but these ladies look pretty damn good. Very chic. Good lord, who made that wig, Pukk? You never told me. Hmpf. Pick it up at Gothique IndustriElle-First Impressions!

Let's see. Yuh, that pretty much covers it for me. For now. Lucky you, haha!

Police line, don't cross! Haha!

Yuh, so it's time to get off my ass and write up Homicide Designs. I had my reasons putting this off, they needed to get off THEIR asses and finish making something that you will find very special. I must admit they finished them a week ago, however being a child I am prone to laziness and took my sweet time. Swirly agreed to come along as I need constant adult supervision. She expressed an amazing amount of enthusiasm.

However Swirly is a sport and here she is looking fabulous in my personal favorite, Omerta!

Here is Swirly sporting the the Jailbird shirt, comes with prim collar and sleeve cuffs, I of course choose Mothblood because well, it's black and red, and it has the word blood in it.

You: I think jailbird suits you.

Swirly Cyclone: No dear, Swirly doesnt think so.

You: No men with paid accounts in jail?

Swirly Cyclone: No dear =/.

Haha!

Here I am looking positively filthy with HD's new blood and mud spattered jacket layers. I must admit it really perks up my T shirt. Combine with it the blood bandages and complete the look. I wear it often and you should too!

Yeah, so now on to the special bit.

That's right boys and girls. Prim guts! This picture speaks for itself.

And here we are drowning Sergei. Don't be sad, we lifted his clothes after he was dead! Go to ::HD::Clothing & Apparel to pick up all this nifty shit! (Sergei, bathtub and chainsaw not included).

Also, check out this this nifty little dress at Draconic Kiss Main Store. It's called Mulberry Tease and I look terrific in it. And Draconic just gimmed these, her Laced Boot series. Comes with or without ribbons, and it lots pf pretty colors. Head on over and check em out!

And shame on me for not having posted this sooner. The amazing Pukk Abel has created this series of suits just for Relay for Life. They are modestly priced for her incredible work and eye for detail. Thank you, Pukk! Get yours at IndustriElle-First Impressions.

And last but not least, head on over to Chicanery and dress up like a redneck wrestler or just be naked and look scary as hell. Haha, if it came in a vampire version I'd wear it!

I'm pooped. Nini!

First Impressions: Another fantastic store catering to knocked up hookers!

As you all know, the majority of second life designers are prejudice against poor pregnant woman so they hardly ever think of them when designing their clothes. Luckily for me I have found several stores that cater to woman who are walking around with a burden in them. One of these stores that clearly showed no prejudice against knocked up hookers was First Impressions. Very nice and sophisticated clothing for pregnant woman such as myself. As you can tell from the photograph on the um...right...yeah, the right....this outfit makes me look like I'm ready for the work place EVEN THOUGH I do not work because you all know that I am a domesticated housewife that is only good for spreading legs, becoming knocked up, and making my man some pot roast. And if that outfit is too sophisticated for you First Impressions also offers simple but styling cute outfits. And a simple outfit is just what I needed when I went out shopping for a bedroom set for my future burden. If my burden pops up and has a vagina like her mother and her mothers secret lover then she will definitely get this set for her bedroom. I will only teach my daughters to be great housewives and fun stuff like that. Well, I just really recommend First Impressions to any expecting hookers. It gives you class and sophistication, and if you're a knocked up hooker....I think you need that. And the wonderful designer, Pukk Abel, is just such a lovely woman! Very nice, and talented. Thank you Pukk for not letting us pregnant woman down! =)

I'm sure your husband is at work, so go visit these stores, but make sure you're back home soon enough to make his dinner and clean the house, okay!?
